We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge Point of Sale (POS) applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android development, a deep understanding of POS systems, and a passion for creating innovative mobile solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for POS systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product management, QA) to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Optimize application performance and user experience.
- Integrate POS hardware (printers, scanners, cash drawers, etc.) and payment gateways.
- Ensure application security and data privacy compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Job Requirement:
- Proven +4 years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin or Java.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, NDK, and design patterns.
- Experience with POS systems, payment gateways, and related hardware.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
